Born in Detroit
KYC Doggz started with a simple idea: serve the best hot doggz in Detroit, made with Nathan's 100% all beef products, at prices everyone can afford.
From church events to community gatherings, from downtown pop-ups to neighborhood block parties — we go where the people are. Because good food shouldn't be hard to find.
The Next Chapter
We wanted to be outside longer — protected from the elements and able to better serve the community. That led to the first major investment in infrastructure: our second food cart.
We chose this cart over a large food truck to keep things personable. It's still about being close to the people, still about conversations over a hot doggz. Just now we can do it rain or shine, longer into the evening, and serve more of the community we love.
Every Doggz Feeds Something Bigger
KYC Doggz is the engine behind Generous Giving Detroit— a charity that's been providing meals, clothing, and support to Detroit's homeless community since 2012.
Revenue from every hot doggz we sell goes directly toward funding Generous Giving's mission. When you eat with us, you're feeding someone else too. That's the KYC way.
Generous Giving Detroit has been active in the community for over a decade — distributing meals, blankets, hats, gloves, and more at events across the city.
